Britain Can't Wait
We need a General Election now

The Prime Minister just made a statement outside Downing Street and resigned. She said there will now be another Conservative leadership campaign.

Only a General Election can sort out this mess.

In less than two months, Liz Truss steamrolled through two decades worth of Tory economic vandalism, causing extreme and unnecessary hardship for millions.

People can’t wait any longer for a competent government to address this crisis and the Tories cannot be trusted to anoint another Prime Minister from within their own lousy ranks.

Now is the time for us to be ready. I told the Best for Britain team this morning, and I'll tell you now, none of us should be complacent. A change of government is essential for the country, and for all those facing a winter of hardship.

Together, we have to work to make that happen.

Best for Britain is putting a massive MRP poll into the field, so we have the best up to the minute data. Labour is ahead in the polls, yes, but we need the best data to make sure we apply our resources efficiently.
