"Oy vey." That was my first thought when I found out that we missed another pre-election FEC goal, for the second time in just three weeks.

I won’t sugarcoat it, John: this drop-off in fundraising is concerning. But I know how lucky I am to have such a dedicated team by my side.

I don’t have to remind you that our battleground race is the most competitive in the nation. I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention that now is the best time to donate as we lock in our final investments in TV ads, mailers, and voter outreach.

The resources we raise in the next few days will truly make the difference between victory and defeat. FiveThirtyEight is forecasting this race as a pure toss-up, and Roll Call named me the most vulnerable House Democrat up for re-election.
