Dear friend

CAAT SAYS NO TO INJUNCTION AT MALVERN ARMS FAIR, YES TO THE RIGHT TO
PROTEST!

Three Counties Showground are seeking an injunction against "persons
unknown" to limit protests against the Malvern arms fair, 3CDSE (31 Oct - 2
Nov)

THE FOCUS OF THE FAIR IS “HYBRID WARFARE”. Electronic and cyber
warfare, drone warfare, and unmanned vehicles are an important part of
modern warfare, are lethal in their own right, and are of deep concern to
all those interested in peace and justice. It is therefore entirely
legitimate to want to protest such an event, and any injunction that limits
the right to protest should be taken in that light.

WE ARE CHALLENGING THIS INJUNCTION IN COURT TODAY, THURSDAY 20TH OCTOBER.
WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT TO SAY NO TO THIS INJUNCTION AND TO DEFEND THE RIGHT
TO PROTEST!

HOW YOU CAN HELP!

* If you can afford to, please donate [1]to CAAT's campaigns (and thank
you if you already do!)
* Follow us on Facebook [2], Instagram [3]and Twitter [4] and share about
the court case using #DefendDissent and #StopProtestInjunctions
* Join the local CAAT groups' resistance to 3CDSE in Malvern (more via
CAAT's Events page [5], or contact [email protected]).

PROTEST REMAINS AN IMPORTANT DEMOCRATIC RIGHT. Protesters are ordinary
members of the public, saying no to violence and repression, and seeking to
make their voice heard.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT, and for standing with all those who resist the
arms trade.
