Hi there,

Just a quick note to all our fabulous EAC community that we have scored another opportunity for you to take your concerns directly to NDIS Minister Bill Shorten.

We are hosting a webinar today at 4.30pm (AEDT) with Minister Shorten and the members of a new panel put together to review the NDIS.

You might have seen the announcement this week that Minister Shorten has brought forward a planned review into the NDIS. The Review will be lead by a panel including Professor Bruce Bonyhady, Lisa Paul, Kevin Cocks, Judy Brewer, Stephen King, Kirsten Deane and Dougie Herd. We know we are a bit biased but we are really pleased to see EAC champs Kirsten and Dougie included - we know they will make sure your voices are heard.

At today's webinar you will have a chance to meet the panel and hear more about what the review will look at and how you can get involved.

You don't have to register - just open this link at 4:30pm AEDT. You can join in with or without the Webex software - similar to Teams and Zoom - it's up to you.

There's a little more info about it from the NDIS Review website here. [[link removed]]

We are really sorry there hasn’t been more time to let you know - things are happening pretty fast!

Please don't worry if you can’t make it - you will be able to watch it online later.

And we’ve got some ideas about ways we can all have our say as part of this review - but we are pretty keen to hear yours. So stay tuned and we will be back in touch soon.

As always thank you for all that you do!

Jean and the EAC team

PS: We have a new form on our website [[link removed]] where you can send in questions and comments about the new review. We will keep it open for a long time, so you can use it after today too.
