I just stepped off the stage after debating Nancy Mace in our one and only congressional debate in SC-01.

Tonight, we saw 2 dramatically different visions for the Lowcountry. Mine is based on facts, improving things for our families, and working for YOU. Mace’s is based on getting featured on Fox News and… actually, that’s her entire platform.

No matter how she may spin it, Mace is only in this race for her own personal gain. That’s why she attacks doctors, trans kids, and abortion rights—she’ll do anything for the attention of the MAGA base.

I hope I made you proud tonight. My message has been consistent since I started this race: I want to make life easier, not harder, for Lowcountry families.

Lowering costs on essentials, protecting reproductive freedom, preventing flooding, improving infrastructure, getting corruption out of politics, and yes, making it so no more kids are ever impacted by gun violence: That’s what I’ll focus on in Congress.
