Dear Friend,

As Mississippians, we are blessed to live in a state that is home to many God-fearing people; to have great schools and educators; to have brave law enforcement officers; and to have elected officials who care about the future of our communities, state, and nation. This week, I have had the honor of traveling across the district to speak with people who call our state home. In my conversations, a common theme always emerged — that our nation is headed in the wrong direction. 

Mississippi is not alone, however. There are many people across the country who believe that the current Administration in Washington is leading our nation in the wrong direction. Three out of four Americans believe our nation is on the wrong path. It's times like this that remind me of what President Reagan once said:

Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. We didn't pass it on to our children in the bloodstream. It must be fought for, protected, and handed on for them to do the same, or one day we will spend our sunset years telling our children and our children's children what it was like in the United States where men were free.

My fellow Republicans and I have a plan to combat the crises that Democrat control in Washington has created, such as:

1. Record High Inflation
2. An Immigration and Drug Crisis on our Southern Border
3. Growing Violent Crime

We are calling our plan the Republican Commitment to America, and it's based on four primary pillars. First, we will rebuild an economy that's strong by bringing down gas prices, making America energy independent again, and restoring manufacturing jobs in America. We also plan to create a safer nation by securing our southern border and DEFENDING the police instead of defunding the police. Next, we will work to protect Americans' constitutional freedoms and liberties by protecting the Second Amendment and defending parents' rights to have a say in what their children learn in the classroom. Finally, we will work to restore accountability and remake Congress into the institution of the people, by the people, and for the people.

If we retake the House in November, my first vote will be to fire Nancy Pelosi as Speaker so that we can begin the process of getting our nation back on track. We will fight to secure our southern border, reinstate tough-on-crime laws, cut wasteful spending, unleash American independence, and defend our divinely inspired constitution from the woke Left.
