Gray wolf

Hi John,

The extinction emergency is here — the coming decades could see the loss of hundreds of species daily.

We must be fierce and bold to save wildlife while there's still time.

And we need the life-saving power of the Endangered Species Act to win.

Your gift today to the Endangered Species Act Protection Fund will power our tireless struggle to save threatened wildlife. Thanks to a generous supporter, all gifts through Dec. 31 will be doubled.

This is a critical moment for the Act. The changes Trump made to it this year will only make it harder to protect habitat, stem pollution and fight off the climate crisis.

We'll be in the courts and the halls of power to protect the Act. No other law is as important and effective at saving wildlife.

We'll also be fighting for gray wolves, which are facing their biggest battle yet. Final plans to take away their federal protection are set to go in effect in the coming months.

The Center is fighting back at every turn, and we're racking up key victories for imperiled wildlife and their habitat.

With you by our side this past year, we secured protection of 175,812 square miles of habitat for endangered Pacific humpback whales, plus Southern Resident orcas' entire West Coast range.

We won final endangered species protection for Barren's topminnow, two glacier-dependent stoneflies, and southern mountain caribou, plus proposed protection for five others, including Pacific fishers.

We secured bans on the trapping of Humboldt martens in Oregon, beavers in California, and the use of cyanide traps on 10 million acres in Wyoming.

And we halted construction of the massive Rosemont open-pit copper mine in Arizona’s Santa Rita Mountains, habitat for jaguar and other endangered species.

Our fight to save life on Earth is driven by a wild love for all species and the lands and waters they need to survive. We won't let up in 2020.

Double your gift now to our special Endangered Species Act Protection Fund. All gifts through Dec. 31 will be matched dollar for dollar.

For the wild,
