Dear John, Meet Yeimi and her daughters. Because of support from donors like you, this loving family is back together. Yeimi came to the United States seeking protection from severe domestic violence and death threats in her native Honduras. After being apprehended, she was separated from her daughters for four long months. Thanks to our volunteers and partners with our Immigration Justice Campaign, Yeimi won release from detention and was reunited with her family.
The American Immigration Council is standing up for families and holding the government accountable. We cannot do this work without you. Will you continue your support with a tax-deductible year-end gift?
As you may have seen, we received news that a new donor to the American Immigration Council has pledged $100,000 in support of our work. In announcing the gift, the donor encouraged us to reach out to our other supporters to ask that they match it dollar for dollar. Can you join us in helping raise $100,000? All donations count—but, we have a December 31 deadline.
On behalf of everyone dedicated to preserving our immigration tradition, I thank you.

We work to shape how America thinks about immigration and acts towards immigrants. To work towards a more fair and just immigration system, the Council brings together four coordinated approaches to advance change—litigation, research, advocacy, and communications.
