After midnight tonight, federal law requires my team to pull together one final report and publicly say how much we have raised to turn Iowa blue in ‘22. We have done very well, but with less than 7 hours left until our final FEC fundraising deadline of the entire campaign, we’re still $23,432 short of our $750,000 goal and what we need to defeat Chuck Grassley.
This is the last and most important FEC deadline of the entire campaign: Please, may I count on you to chip in $5 or more right now – before our final FEC deadline at midnight tonight – to help me defeat Chuck Grassley, turn Iowa blue, and protect our Democratic Senate majority?
This is a race we can win. Iowa was one of the closest Senate races in the country in 2020, and brand-new polling from the highly-respected and gold-standard Des Moines Register shows that I am only THREE points behind Chuck Grassley!
But the Super PACs are here. Mitch McConnell and his buddies are spending millions of dollars to attack me and put Republicans back in charge. We cannot allow that to happen. Just imagine what will happen if we have yet another Supreme Court vacancy and McConnell and Grassley get their way.
