Marjorie Taylor Greene expects House Republican leader Kevin McCarthy to "give me a lot of power and a lot of leeway" if Republicans take control of the House, according to a new book by New York Times contributor Robert Draper.

According to Draper, McCarthy has told Marjorie Taylor Greene he would not only restore committee postings she was stripped of for offensive behavior, but give her "better assignments."

And Politico reports that Kentucky Rep. James Comer, the likely Oversight chair under Republican control, said in a statement that he would 'look forward' to adding new members 'like Rep. Greene.'"

The last thing America needs is Marjorie Taylor Greene at the center of congressional power.
