Ahead of the 2022 midterms, we set a goal of getting at least 100 state and local candidates and elected officials to put patients over profits and pledge to reject campaign contributions from the corporate health care industry.
We’ve passed the halfway mark, but we’re still far behind our goal. There are only two and a half weeks until Election Day, so tomorrow night we’ll be hosting our final Patients Over Profits update call. We’ll discuss our success so far and ways that you can help plug in during these final weeks.

For decades, corporate-lobbying groups have organized to stop health care reform and buy off our politicians with millions of dollars in campaign contributions and lobbying.
But we can move our politicians and elected officials to choose a side by signing the pledge to reject dirty money from the corporate health care industry.
Elected officials across the country like North Carolina State Senator Julie Mayfield, Arizona State Senator Raquel Teran, and Fayetteville, West Virginia Town Councilmember Gabe Peña, and many more have added their name to our pledge. You can help us hit our goal by asking candidates and elected officials in your community to join them.
Thank you for being part of this movement!

P.S. Check out the current signees on our Patients Over Profits website before tomorrow night’s call! Your elected official could be next to sign the pledge!
