I’m writing to ask you to split a contribution — $3 or whatever you can afford — between Val Demings and me.

Let me explain:

Last night, Val faced off in her first and only debate before Election Day.

Val shared her vision for a better, more just America on the stage and I would be proud to count her as a colleague in the Senate. But there’s a problem:

The latest polls show this race is TIED and the GOP is spending millions in these final weeks to defeat Val.

So Val needs our help. She needs this team. And just like this team has my back in our most critical moments, we need that same energy for Val today.

We both have our final FEC deadlines tonight and we need to make sure we have the resources to fight back against the GOP’s spending and win.

So today, we’re hoping for as many grassroots donations as possible — split between our campaigns — to help fight back. That’s why I’m asking:
