Oakland County Clerk/ Register of Deeds Lisa Brown is inviting members of the public to observe the Public Accuracy Test of the election equipment to be used in the Oakland County Absent Voter Counting Board for the November 8, 2022 election.
?The Public Accuracy Test is one of the many transparent steps in our democratic process that ensures our elections are secure, accurate, and fair,? said Oakland County Clerk/ Register of Deeds Lisa Brown. ?The equipment being tested will be used on Election Day to count the absentee ballots cast in the eighteen Oakland County communities that we contract with. The public is welcome to observe and learn about this important process.?

WHY: The Public Accuracy Test is conducted to verify the accuracy of the tabulation of votes.
