Last night, our race was featured in Fox News as one of the most competitive races in the country. Their analysts initially called CA-49 “Democratic Leaning.” But after Brian Maryott once again injected $500,000 from his personal fortune into his campaign coffers, they now has us listed as a “Toss-up” in the homestretch.
 
Normally, we take anything that comes out of Fox with a grain of salt, but these results are in-line with what we know about this race: It’s going to be extremely close. This rating will also signal to GOP super PACs to dump even more resources into our community to try and unseat me.
