The bi-annual conference has been opened up to civil society groups and InSight Crime has been given observer status. 


** This week, InSight Crime is taking part in the 11th Session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Convention against Transnational Organized Crime (UNTOC) in Vienna, Austria.

Once restricted to the United Nations and member governments, this bi-annual conference has been opened up to civil society groups and InSight Crime has been given observer status, which means we can attend all of the meetings and side events at the conference. The conference looks at many aspects of transnational organized crime (TOC) and responses to it.

InSight Crime Co-director Jeremy McDermott and Creative Manager Elisa Roldán are attending the conference to host two side events and to see where our organization might contribute to helping find solutions and promoting cooperation in the struggle against TOC.
