We know we ask you to pitch in to our campaign every so often, but do you know why?
We ask because it was thousands of $5 donations that helped Tammy win reelection in 2018 by double digits in a state that went to Donald Trump two years earlier.
It was $5 that helped us flip the Senate majority in 2020, allowing us to pass once-in-a-generation legislation like the Inflation Reduction Act, lowering the cost of prescription drugs, tackling the climate crisis, and so much more.
We know five bucks might not seem like a lot, especially when you compare it to National Republicans’ record-breaking fundraising hauls (like the $111 million Mitch McConnell’s super PAC raised last quarter). But to us, every $5 donation makes a huge difference — it’s what sustains our work to protect our Democratic majorities so we can keep making progress for working families.
Now, as you probably know, we’ve got a tough fight ahead of us. Senate races across the country are deemed toss-ups, and the GOP is spending tens of millions of dollars to tilt the scales in their favor.
