John – Last night, President Biden spoke to the nation about abortion rights, and he issued a clear call to action:

 

Elect more Democratic Senators and hold the House majority, and the first bill he sends to Congress in January will be to codify Roe v Wade as the law of the land.

In his address last night, President Biden said, “If Republicans get their way with a national ban, it won't matter WHERE you live in America.”

 

And he’s absolutely right. It’s bad enough that people in Idaho have to drive two hours west to Oregon or Washington to get essential reproductive healthcare that our state now denies them. But if Republicans in Washington D.C. get their way, NO state will be a safe haven, and millions will be at risk.

 

This is not a joke, John, people are going to die because of these abortion bans. Already there are nightmare stories all across the country of people being denied life-saving medical care because hospital lawyers are worried about running afoul of right-wing abortion bans.

 

It’s horrifying, and we have to stop it.
