The newest attempt to cast doubts on the integrity of the Supreme Court includes calls for justices to disclose information about their working spouses that has never been required before. As Mark Paoletta describes, the recent proposal from Politico to suddenly create new requirements that are nowhere else in the federal government is a transparent partisan play to decrease the public's trust in the objectivity of a conservative court. In Latest Attempt To Undermine SCOTUS, Politico Launches Baseless Attack On Justices’ Working Spouses

The corporate media and leftist activists have been engaged in a non-stop effort to undermine the public’s trust in the Supreme Court as the court moves in a more conservative and originalist direction. Politico recently published a hit piece criticizing the justices for not disclosing their working spouses’ clients in their annual financial disclosure form, claiming that by not disclosing these clients, the justices have heightened serious conflict of interest concerns about their participation in cases.
