Dear friend,
The Big Send mail date—Saturday, October 29—is just 10 days away. By spending 15 minutes writing 5 letters to voters each day, you can write 50 letters before the mail date. That’s 50 potential voters who may not participate in our democracy without a nudge from you. If you’re already at your capacity—I totally understand. I just want to encourage those of you who may be able to do a bit more to pick up your pens here in the final days.

For my part, I’m forgoing some doom scrolling each night and using that time to write more letters. Honestly, it’s a swap I should have made a long time ago. Because reading the news feed (😢) and writing letters to voters (😊) have opposite effects on my mental health. I hope letters have that positive effect on you, too.
We can protect our democracy this year by encouraging more voters to make their voices heard. Thank you for all of your efforts as always. Even in challenging times, I find a great deal of joy in working on this together with you.
