Real Clear Politics upgrades CT-02 to “toss-up”
Connecticut Republicans continue building momentum

Hartford, CT -- The race for Connecticut's 2nd Congressional District between Mike France, Joe Courtney & Green Party Candidate Kevin Blacker has been upgraded by Real Clear Politics from "Lean Democrat" to “Toss Up.” This marks the fourth Connecticut race (Governor, U.S. Senate, and CT-05,) to move toward the GOP recently.

“Courtney, who is facing his strongest opponent in years, is arguing with Jahana Hayes over who is the most extreme left-wing progressive and, like Richard Blumenthal, is tied up by ethics problems. Eastern Connecticut voters are tired of Joe Courtney and Connecticut Democrats’ failed economic and social policies, their continued assault on the Constitution and on parents, and their never-ending lust for power. Connecticut is ready for Mike France and Republicans to lead and deliver real results,” said CTGOP Chairman Ben Proto.
