Hi there, Congresswoman Jahana Hayes here. I want to tell you a little more about how I’m approaching my race in Connecticut’s Fifth District.

We’re 20 days out from the election. We’re in the thick of it, and you are probably hearing a lot from the various candidates.

But friends… I implore you to pay more attention to how officials vote than what they say! Don’t listen to words – look at actions!

I put Connecticut families first with my votes to raise the minimum wage, lower costs for prescription drugs, improve climate mitigation strategies, open schools safely, provide universal childcare, pass gun violence prevention legislation and so much more.

Will you split a grassroots contribution between my campaign and Fair Shot PAC right now to help us protect the Democratic majority? All of our advancements hinge on my crucial toss-up district! We cannot go backward.

I talk the talk and walk the walk… and I have the voting record to prove it!

 I voted for the Women’s Health Protection Act to protect the right to bodily autonomy here in Connecticut.
 I voted for the Inflation Reduction Act to lower health care costs and make the largest investment ever in combating climate change.
 I wrote the Access to Baby Formula Act to remove barriers so we could get formula back on the shelves.
 I voted for the PACT Act to provide our veterans with expanded health care.
 I voted for the first gun reform legislation in decades as a meaningful step toward curbing the gun violence epidemic.

Truth-telling is at the center of my campaign, so I have been showing up in the community and bringing the receipts to let people know what I voted for and how it has directly benefited them.

Now, I’m working with allies like Fair Shot PAC to boost our outreach to make sure every voter across CT-05 hears this message. We need to post more signs, buy more media, make more phone calls, and send more texts.
