Hi John, it’s Oprah.
I’m reaching out to you on behalf of Stacey Abrams with some exciting news.
On Thursday I will be sitting down with Stacey to speak with her about why she’s running for governor, and our unfinished business for the people of Georgia.
It is clear Stacey is running a compassionate campaign that includes everyone. She has been zig zagging the state listening to thousands of Georgians a day — and making her case that she will lead a Georgia where everyone can thrive.
John, leadership is about empathy. It is about having the ability to relate to and connect with people for the purpose of inspiring and empowering their lives.
And Stacey Abrams is exactly the type of leader we need to guide Georgians’ futures.
She is not afraid of challenging the status quo to build a better society for everyone.
She led the Georgia House of Representatives as the first Black Minority Leader and made real, bipartisan progress for Georgians.
She fought voter suppression and helped turn Georgia blue in 2020 for the first time in a generation.
Now, she’s running to make history and become the first Black woman governor in American history.
It’s as simple as this: Stacey is not afraid to take on a challenge to break down barriers.
But with polls showing her race statistically tied, Stacey needs a flood of grassroots donations to reach out to voters to make sure they know about her record of delivering what was once seen as impossible.
To use Stacey's call to action, LET'S GET IT DONE.
See you Thursday,
Oprah
P.S. After you make a donation or if you are unable to today, make sure to RSVP to watch my conversation with Stacey on Thursday at 8:30PM ET. Sign up at this link, and Stacey’s team will be in touch with how to watch the livestream: www.staceyabrams.com/oprah
