I’m Julie, the campaign manager for Admiral Mike Franken’s campaign here in Iowa against Chuck Grassley.

As you probably know, a brand-new poll from the gold-standard Des Moines Register shows Mike only THREE points behind Grassley. And Chuck Grassley’s approval ratings are the lowest they’ve ever been. But Mitch McConnell and Grassley are spending millions of dollars right now attacking Mike on TV. If we’re going to finally send Grassley packing this November, it’s critical we be able to match them on the air now – because early voting starts today here in Iowa.

It's so important that I just authorized increasing our TV ad budget across Iowa a few days early, even though we don't technically have all the money in our budget to do so just yet.

We took this risk because we had to. Whether or not Democrats hold onto our Senate majority is going to be decided here in Iowa, and we won’t stand a chance if we don’t immediately introduce Mike to more voters right now. So I bit the bullet and made the bet that grassroots donors like you would come through and help us fill our $100,000 budget gap…

We need to do everything we can to defeat Grassley and protect our Senate majority. That means taking a few risks.
