Hey, it’s Jason — Maura Healey’s Campaign Manager.

We’ve gotten some questions from grassroots donors around Massachusetts about how your donation can make the biggest difference in this race, and I have an answer.

It’s a good question, because the stakes are high and the race is important. Governor’s races around the country are going to be incredibly important this fall, early voting starts this Saturday, and 538 actually listed Massachusetts as the best chance to pick up a Governor’s race in November.

Given Geoff Diehl’s radical, anti-abortion, far-right agenda, it’s crucial that we win in November, and now we’re in the final stage of the campaign:

✅ Early voting starts this Saturday.
✅ This Thursday is the final debate of this campaign.
✅ Our organizing program knocked more doors, made more calls, and had more volunteers last weekend than any other weekend during this campaign.


We need to make sure that voters across Massachusetts know that they need to get ready to head to the polls (or drop off their mail-in ballots) — and they need to do it soon.

SO, here’s how you can make the biggest difference.

Campaigns like ours don’t just run day by day. We try to plan ahead, figuring out how to use our resources, where to send our volunteers, etc.

Right now, we’re planning out how we’re going to spend the three weeks that we have left.

One important thing to understand is that consistency is crucial. For example, if volunteers sign up to come in every weekend, each weekend, for the rest of the campaign, we know that we can rely on their help, and we can plan accordingly. The same is true for donors. If you donate today and click the button to make your donation weekly, that helps us create a final budget for signs, voter outreach, etc.

After today, there are just three Tuesdays left — and that’s counting Election Day. We don’t have much time, so if you want to make a big difference, consider becoming a weekly donor.
