Last week, a KGW news anchor called her out for
lying about her anti-choice views, calling her attempt to cover up those views “stunning” and saying politicians like her have "
no backbone, no moral fiber, no principles, and no ability to tell the truth about what they really believe even when it's not popular.”
Agreed!
Back in May, Chavez-DeRemer tweeted that she was “encouraged” to see the Supreme Court overturning
Roe v. Wade. She also said she would support an abortion ban as early as 6 weeks.
Now, she refuses to admit to those views – despite receiving support from extreme anti-abortion groups like Oregon Right to Life and the National Right to Life Committee.
