Our goal for this FEC fundraising deadline is simple: if we’re going to win this election, we need to reach 5 million contributions before the ball drops for the new year Tuesday night.

Bernie wrote to you this morning about how important it is to him and to our movement to hit this goal. Thousands of people stepped up in response to his message — but we’re still short of where we need to be today.

More than 1 million people know what it’s like to own a piece of this campaign. Our deadline and our goal is SO important, that if you have been waiting for any reason to donate, now is the time to do so. We need to hit this goal.

What we are proving in this campaign is that it is possible to run for president of the United States in a way that has never been done before.

We don’t have a super PAC. No billionaire donors allowed. No high-dollar fundraisers. Together, we are doing things very, very differently to make Bernie Sanders the next president of the United States. Thank you for being a part of our political revolution.
