LANSING, Mich. ? Today, Governor Gretchen Whitmer announced the following appointments to the Michigan Board of Behavior Analysts, Michigan Board of Counseling, Environmental Rules Review Committee, Michigan Board of Massage Therapy, Michigan Board of Nursing, Michigan Onion Committee, Michigan Task Force on Physician?s Assistants, Michigan Board of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery, Michigan Board of Speech Language Pathology, State Board of Professional Surveyors, Unemployment Insurance Appeals Commission, Environmental Permit Review Commission, Future Mobility and Electrification, Michigan Humanities Council, Local Community Stabilization Authority Council, and Michigan Veterans? Michigan Board of Behavior Analysts?

Taylor Fasseel, of Auburn Hills, is a special education teacher at Blanche Sims Elementary School in Lake Orion. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Secondary Education English and Master of Special Education from Michigan State University. Ms. Fasseel is appointed to represent the general public for a term commencing October 18, 2022, and expiring December 31, 2025. She succeeds Shana Shroll whose term expired December 31, 2021.?

Stefani J. Hines, M.D., of Farmington, is the medical director and physician for the Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics Division at Beaumont Health. Dr. Hines also serves as the medical director for the Autism Evaluation Center.? She received her Bachelor of Science in Biology and her Doctor of Medicine from Ohio State University.??

Dr. Hines is appointed to represent physicians who work with patients with autism spectrum disorders or brain injuries for a term commencing October 18, 2022, and expiring December 31, 2025. She succeeds Kelly Blankenship whose term expired December 31, 2021.?

Ian E. McElfish, of Lansing, is a behavior analyst for the Genesee Health System. Mary Billman, of Gaylord, is currently retired after serving as a teacher with the East Grand Rapids Public School District. In retirement, Ms. Billman serves as a volunteer and educator at the Frederick Meijer Gardens Sculpture Park in Grand Rapids. She received her Master of Education from Texas A&M University. Ms. Billman is reappointed to represent the general public for a term commencing October 18, 2022, and expiring June 30, 2026.?

Walter Harper, of Rose City, is currently retired after serving as a paraprofessional in the West Branch Rose City School District. Additionally, he served five years as a volunteer EMT in the Mayville area, is a CPR instructor, and helped volunteer at multiple COVID vaccine clinics. Mr. Harper holds a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Career Education from Ferris State University. Mr. Harper is reappointed to represent the general public for a term commencing October 18, 2022, and expiring June 30, 2026.?

Laura D. Mammen, of Hudsonville, is the clinical program manager of family preservation services at D.A Blodgett of St. Johns in Grand Rapids. The Local Community Stabilization Authority Council is the governing body of the Local Community Stabilization Authority, which replaced the METRO Authority, and is responsible for coordinating access to public rights-of-way and the payment of maintenance fees by telecommunications providers to municipalities. The Authority is responsible for distributing personal property tax replacement revenue to municipalities throughout the state according to specific statutory formulas.????
