Donald Trump has officially been subpoenaed by the Select Committee to Investigate the January 6th Attack on the United States Capitol. This is significant news, Friend.

Even as the bipartisan committee's public hearings reveal and highlight Trump's pivotal role in inciting the deadly attack on our Capitol, Trump continues to spew lies about the results of the election – and even praises the attacks as displays of patriotism.

It's long past time for Trump to be held accountable, and that should begin with him appearing before Congress – under oath – to answer for his potentially criminal behavior.

But as we've seen time and again since Trump took over the Republican Party, the vast majority of the GOP – including my opponent in this U.S. Senate race – will do whatever they can to shield and exalt Trump by obstructing and discrediting any investigation into the former President.
