In a few moments, I am going to ask you to help us reach our end-of-year FEC fundraising goal by making a contribution of any amount today. Please give me a chance to explain why this deadline matters so much.

Every single day I am in the U.S. Senate, you can find me fighting for working families and against the Trump administration's radical agenda.

In the past few weeks alone, I've fought to lower the cost of prescription drugs for tens of millions of families and joined together with my colleagues to fight for legislation that would end the gun violence epidemic.

There is a lot happening in our country — especially in Washington — and it's showing no sign of letting up anytime soon. With so many critical issues coming up in the Senate over the next few weeks, I am going to need to stay focused on doing my job, which means I won't have much time to raise money. This is where I am hoping you will step in.

We are facing a critical end-of-year fundraising deadline, but the way things are currently looking, we will fall short of where we need to be to meet our goal for the year — and most importantly, for the quarter. So, I am asking:
