Folks,

Life on the farm has shaped me to be who I am. I’ve learned a couple lessons along the way, and perhaps the most important one is that you can’t get the hard work done on your own.

This was especially true during my last campaign, when this grassroots team came together, beat the odds, and helped me win re-election in a state that Donald Trump carried by nearly 20 points in 2016.

It was a remarkable achievement — but it wasn’t a fluke. That same grassroots energy handed Democrats the Senate majority last cycle and together, we’ve delivered transformative legislation, like my bipartisan Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act and the Inflation Reduction Act .

The other lesson that farm life has taught me is that you reap what you sow.

We’ve still got lots of work ahead of us in the Senate, from getting our economy back on track to restoring reproductive rights for all. And while we’re all still focused on the election in three weeks, it’s not too early to be thinking about 2024.

After November 8, I’ll officially be in-cycle, and running for re-election once again in a state Trump won by double digits in both 2016 and 2020. It won’t be easy — but by working together, and investing early, we’ll be able to get the job done.

That’s why I’m kindly asking you to consider starting a monthly contribution to my campaign so we can sustain the momentum we need to win re-election. [[link removed]]
