On Tuesday at midnight, we face the first public Federal Election Commission (FEC) filing deadline since the House voted to impeach President Trump for his misconduct.

Republicans and their special interest investors will be watching our publicly reported numbers for any sign of weakness.

My leadership means that President Trump and his cronies are desperate to slander and discredit my reputation in retaliation.

If we fall short, Trump will use that as a public indicator that the American people will allow him to be above the law with no accountability. In all seriousness, for the sake of our democracy, we can’t allow that to happen.
