Democratic Congresswoman Susie Lee is exactly the kind of representative we need in Congress.

She was born to a family of 10, got through college on scholarships and settled in the Las Vegas area where she fought to improve education for all children, not just those of the privileged. 

Lee is unapolagetically pro-choice, voted to codify Roe and has been endorsed by Planned Parenthood. After recent school shootings--some of that crime Republicans like to talk about, but caused with their policy of ending background checks for concealed carry permits, so any criminal or terrorist could get a gun to carry in public, 

Please join Blue Amp Action in protecting a woman's right to choose, the right of our children to safely attend school and our democracy by giving $5, $10, $25 or whatever you can afford to Congresswoman Susie Lee. We're in the end game now, and if we don't step forward to protect our rights, we'll find ourselves without them very soon.

Lee has this to say:

“We are not going to prevent everything, but by God we better try like hell,” Lee said. “I don’t want to live in a country where we are going to sit back and accept this as our normal.”

 

 

Lee is the kind of person we must keep in Congress. But she is in an incredibly close race and could lose her seat. Her opponent, April Becker, is supported by anti-choice nuts and will ban all abortions, even if it is needed to save the life of the mother. Becker also would support banning birth control. And she thinks allowing AR-15s to be handed out to high school kids is a good idea.

We can't keep electing insane people and assume that it won't affect us. We've seen it with abortion bans and increasingly deadly school shootings. It will only get more gruesome if we allow April Becker to win this seat and help the Republicans take over the House. 

They've even talked about their first plan of action already: Impeaching Joe Biden. For what? They don't know. Nor do they care.
