Leora Levy Statement on Biden Blackmailing Voters Over Abortion 

GREENWICH, CT - Today, Joe Biden plans to announce that he will codify Roe v. Wade into law if Democrats expand their majorities in both the House and Senate. His announcement follows weeks of Democrats losing ground at the polls, including in CT, as rising prices and high energy costs take center stage.

Connecticut Republican challenger for U.S. Senate Leora Levy issued a statement condemning Biden’s last ditch election year gimmick. 

"Joe Biden is trying to blackmail voters into re-electing Dick Blumenthal. If codifying Roe v. Wade is a priority for them, they could do it today while they control the White House and Congress. They won't because, just like they do when it comes to emptying our Strategic Petroleum Reserve or begging OPEC+ to delay their oil production decisions, Biden and Blumenthal do not care about American families. The only thing that matters to them is tricking enough voters so they can win the election. We won't be fooled again."
