If Sean’s going to stay on pace with his pre-election FEC goal and with millions in GOP spending, he needs 320 people to donate before tomorrow at midnight. What can we say to convince you to chip in?

We could tell you that the general election is already underway – in fact, voters across Illinois have already begun requesting their absentee ballots.

We could tell you that Republicans only need to flip a handful of seats to take back control of the House. Or that we need to hold Sean’s seat if we want to see any progress on climate action, gun safety, or reproductive rights.

We could tell you that the stakes of this race couldn’t be higher. The far-right is working to drastically alter our voting system, so that once they get power, they never have to give it up. This election is as serious as it gets.

But if we want Sean to help get our country back on track in Congress, we first need to make sure he’s on track to win this race.

We would never expect everyone to donate each time we reach out, but if just a handful of folks chipped in, we’d be that much closer to our goal.

So, we’ll ask you again, folks: will you be one of the 320 people Sean needs to chip in by our pre-election FEC deadline tomorrow at midnight?
