With just 21 more days until the election, everything we've worked so hard for this election cycle is coming to a head — and we wanted to personally reintroduce ourselves and take a moment to thank you for helping make our dream into a reality.

What started as a passion project led by Eden and Megan (who were tired of seeing only the rich and powerful in office) has since turned into a ground-breaking, barrier-breaking movement. We believe that the Democratic political space should be lifting up the voices of women, low-income individuals, BIPOC, and all those left behind — yet instead we continue to see out-of-touch, privileged, and corporate-funded leaders use their advantages to remain in power. Over the past year, B/E has built a coalition of grassroots supporters in our mission to create a more equitable, more inclusive government that reflects ALL people by providing critical funding, resources, and campaign infrastructure to candidates of marginalized communities and working-class backgrounds. Because it's time for ACTUAL working-class representatives to represent the working class.

We are proud to be 100% women-led — by women of color, queer women, progressive women — who want to see change. Here are the real people behind our people-powered movement:

Our small but mighty 5-person team carefully selects our endorsed candidates to ensure that they align with our progressive values and have what it takes to make a difference. They come to us because they lack the financial advantages, connections, and pedigree that gives others an advantage.

And while of course we want all Democrats to win in November, we intentionally invest in authentic working-class candidates because they are the ones who truly need us (and you) the most. And they're also our best shot at achieving meaningful progress for everyday people once elected since they've shared so many of our lived experiences.
