Three weeks, folks!

We are officially three weeks away from November’s midterm elections. As we enter the critical portion of this year’s race, I needed to check in with you immediately to update you on where things stand.

A New York Times poll published yesterday shows Republicans have picked up ground — they’re now up three points on the generic ballot, threatening our national momentum and our ability to hold our Democratic majority.

This is not good news, team. Democrats everywhere are under attack, and Republicans are waiting for the first sign of vulnerability to intervene. Delaware is no exception.

Keeping our lead in this race means we must step up and show Lisa we have her back. This race will be down to the wire, and it’s imperative we let Republicans know at every opportunity that Delaware is not for the taking. Now is the time for the people of Delaware to stand up and reject extremism. Lee Murphy has made it abundantly clear that he intends to stand beside the most dangerous members of the Republican Party, aiding and abetting their efforts to take down our majority and turn back the clock on our rights. He has applauded the Court’s decision overturn to Roe v. Wade, he threatens to defund our public schools, and he’s opposed efforts to make it easier to vote.

Lee Murphy is a direct threat to Delaware, and if we aren’t careful, Republicans could flip the script on us in these final weeks. Let me remind you that their PACs have raised $535 million this election cycle, and their coffers are only growing as the days go on.
