You know it’s serious if I’m reaching out to you directly, John.
Tomorrow we’ll be submitting our final pre-election finance report to the FEC before we all head to the polls on November 8th.
I know I don’t have to tell you how important the sheer optics of a strong campaign are, but even beyond demonstrating the strength of this movement — this deadline yields a tangible outcome. My team has set three fundraising tiers to achieve by tomorrow at midnight. Our get-out-the-vote efforts for the final 21 days will depend on where we land.
Option 1: If we raise $13,500 in the next few days, we can maintain the pace of our voter outreach program.
Option 2: If we raise just $1,725 more than that we’ll be able to launch additional get-out-the-vote efforts.
Option 3: If we raise $18,775 — we’ll be able accelerate efforts on the ground and build a momentum that can really make a difference on Election Day both in Missouri and beyond.
I’m confident that we can finish this campaign the way we started: with a strong, people-powered movement. Will you make your first contribution right now, John, to help us hit $18,775 by tomorrow's midnight deadline?
This movement has had my back at every turn, but our work isn't finished yet. People are still struggling to pay bills and put food on the table. Missouri was the first state to pass an abortion ban after Roe v. Wade was overturned. And the climate crisis threatens us all.
We need to keep our progressive movement for transformative change, but it's going to be a struggle, John. Corporate special interests are going to keep coming after us. They’ll say we don’t deserve a seat at the table. Fox News will spew any racist attack to smear our movement. They’ll say we’re too radical. And they’ll say all of this simply because they can’t stand that we’re leading with love.
Your Congresswoman loves you,
Cori
