In 2016, Maggie Hassan won her Senate race by a fraction of a percent.

There is always speculation about whether something you did on a campaign worked, but we know one thing for sure: If we had raised even a few dollars less, Republican Kelly Ayotte would likely still be in the Senate.

Because this race was so tight, Republicans like Mitch McConnell are going to make Maggie a top target. Missing even a single fundraising goal could mean we won't have the resources to fight back.
