John,

President Obama just gave a great interview on the “Pod Save America” podcast. I encourage you all to listen to the full podcast here, but one quote from Obama really stood out to me.

Obama said that “the thing I worry most about during these midterms, and this happened throughout my presidency and pretty much every Democratic presidency, is that we, our democratic voters get real hyped up around presidential races, and we lose interest a lot of times during midterms.”

I completely agree with President Obama. In the past, some Democrats have gotten complacent and failed to mobilize during the midterms. We can’t let that happen again.

This election, there’s too much at stake to let apathy win. American Democracy is on the ballot. A women’s right to choose is on the ballot. Social security and medicare are on the ballot.

We must win on November 8th. If elected, my opponent Max Miller would be a serious threat to American Democracy, our elderly population, and women everywhere. I'm going to do everything possible to beat him. And there is a clear path to victory for us. But we need your help. Will you donate $25, $50, $100, or any other amount to help us win this November?

Sincerely,

Matthew Diemer
