While you are still welcome to request an absentee ballot via a mail application or by visiting your town clerk, the online portal will offer a more convenient option for many.
If you are a registered voter with a Connecticut driver’s license, you can request your absentee ballot by phone, computer, or tablet on the new webpage
Remember absentee ballots must be received by town clerks no later than 8 p.m. on Election Day, November 8th, 2022, to be counted. It is not sufficient for an absentee ballot to be postmarked by Election Day.
Even if requesting your ballot with the new online portal, be sure to allow for ample time for the ballot to arrive to you by mail, and make a plan to return your ballot by 8 p.m. on Election Day!
The Red Wave starts now - and we hope that you will help us bring it to Connecticut!
Sincerely,
The CTGOP Team
