Friend,

Betsy DeVos' tenure as education secretary has been nothing short of reckless. She's constantly sided with wealthy corporations over our students and teachers.

And now, reports have emerged that DeVos was instrumental in wasting $500 million dollars in taxpayer money on charter schools that closed or never opened - the majority of which were right here in Michigan.

This is an abuse of Michigan and an abuse of public money, plain and simple. I intend to get to the bottom of it, but I need grassroots supporters like you to speak out against Betsy DeVos' wrongdoing as well. Will you join me in calling for an education secretary who actually puts our students first?

I'm hoping for 342 signatures before midnight, so add your name now to denounce Betsy DeVos and demand a better education secretary for our country.

Thank you for speaking out. Michiganders deserve so much better than Betsy DeVos. Together, we can hold her accountable.

Gary
