John,
I know you can’t wait for election season to be over — believe me, I’m right there with you — but we are so close, we can’t let up now. And there’s one last FEC deadline before the midterms.
48 hours from now, we’ll reach the cutoff for reporting all campaign contributions received to this point to the Federal Election Commission.
Republicans are hoping to catch Democrats off guard.
Mitch McConnell’s Super PAC waited until the last FEC deadline to report they had doubled their entire midterm fundraising haul with more than $111 million in just three months. Kevin McCarthy’s Super PAC did the same thing.
Because they rely so heavily on contributions from billionaires and corporate special interests that can afford to write a million dollar check.
It’s the same reason that Donald Trump waited until just the last week or two to create a $100 million super PAC to flood the airwaves, hoping he could catch Democrats with our guards down.
Not gonna happen, Donald.
John, please help us post the strongest FEC report possible by adding $10 of support or whatever you can spare before our final deadline in the next 48 hours. Our majorities depend on the resources from this grassroots team to defend every Democratic seat.
