This is a crucial week for our campaign. The first thing that’s coming is our final major FEC deadline of the race Wednesday at midnight. Contribute $20 or any amount now to ensure we have a report that makes it clear: We’re the campaign to bet on in the final 3 weeks.

Just as important, early voting is starting on Wednesday for much of our district and on Friday, I’m meeting Amanda Adkins for our first debate of this race.

Here’s what we’re wondering ahead of the debate: Which Amanda Adkins will show up? The moderate she pretends to be or the hard-line extremist she actually is?

• She has said that abortion rights should be left up to the states but also endorsed a radical GOP plan that would enforce a nationwide abortion ban.


• She reversed course and said she accepts the 2020 election results, but just brought Ted Cruz, who tried to overturn the election, to our district. She cashed a big transfer donation from Cruz and is featured on the list of election deniers running for Congress.

Adkins can try to spin it all she wants, but the fact is she is way too extreme for Kansas, and on November 8th, we’ll beat her just like we defeated her anti-abortion ballot measure and just like we won in 2020 when we beat her by 10 points.

But we need to have a record-breaking final FEC report to make it clear. In the final stretch of the race, I’m counting on your support. Please chip in $20 or any amount today.
