Hi Team Scholten!

I’m Nancy, Team Scholten’s Campus Organizer for Grand Valley State University here in Allendale, MI. I am a second year student studying Political Science and International Relations, and I am beyond honored to work on this campaign.

From being a Student Officer in high school to being a current Student Senator, I have always loved being involved in student government. Someday, even, I hope to run for office myself! But, did you know that only 27% of Congressmembers are women? I did, and that’s why it’s hard for myself and my female peers to see ourselves in office one day.

Here in West Michigan, we have a special chance to send the first Democratic woman to represent MI-03 in November. There is so much to fight for in this election: women’s rights, the environment, protections for the LGBTQ+ community, our democracy, and much more. I know that Hillary is an advocate for all of these things, which is why I continue to put my support behind this campaign. Will you join me in supporting Hillary by contributing $5 today?
