Friend, did you know fossil fuel companies have over 7,000 leases for land they haven’t even started developing on yet?

That’s enough leases to dig and drill for another decade and a half!

With the 2030 deadline for significant climate action fast approaching, we need to be moving AWAY from fossil fuels and transitioning to a clean energy economy.

Let me tell you a little bit about fossil fuel companies, friend.

Do you know why gas prices are so high? Because that’s what the oil companies decided.

And drilling for more oil won’t necessarily make the gas prices go down.

First of all, again, the greedy oil companies set the prices. Secondly, it will take 10 years before we even see the oil.

Our state and planet can’t afford another 10-plus years of fossil fuel production — we need to have transitioned to a clean energy economy by the end of this decade!

Remember that massive oil spill off the coast of Huntington Beach last year that sent 25,000 gallons of oil into the Pacific Ocean?

Well, the Biden Administration just permitted Amplify Energy to repair the pipeline and resume oil drilling in the area. The very same fossil fuel company. The very same oil pipeline.

Enough is enough, friend. It’s past time that we phase out dirty, unsafe fossil fuels and invest rapidly in green, renewable, clean energy.
