Our Revolution is working hard to make sure Megan Green becomes the next president of the St. Louis Board of Alderman — especially as her opponent Jack Coatar rakes in cash from anti-union and big developer sources.
Megan supports hotel workers trying to organize with Unite Here Local 74, STL Today reports, while Coatar sides with the bosses who are also his donors.
“He’s the big-money candidate in the race to replace Reed, who was the big-money candidate before Coatar,” STL Today writes. “Reed, of course, is headed to a likely federal prison sentence for taking bribes in development deals.”
In her time on the board, Megan helped pass a $15 minimum wage bill in the city while Coatar voted against it. As board president, she would strengthen the growing bloc of progressive power in the city that includes the Mayor.

Our Revolution: NY Progressive Action Network rallied with Amazon workers this week in Albany as voting runs through Monday to unionize at the #ALB1 location.
There were FIRES in the warehouse last week, and we’re sounding the alarm to stand with workers who are organizing a union to improve health and safety in their workplaces.

LA Progressive reported this week on the work of Our Revolution and our coalition of climate allies resulting in our Phase 1 victory over Joe Manchin and his Dirty Deal.
We were among the first to organize to stop the deal, marshaling our resources and mobilizing thousands of calls to House and Senate offices.
