• On Sunday, Oct. 16, Republicans filed a petition in the Pennsylvania Supreme Court challenging the ability of counties to count undated and incorrectly dated mail-in ballots.

• On Friday, Oct. 14, Ohio Republicans — invoking the fringe independent state legislature theory — asked the U.S. Supreme Court to review the Ohio Supreme Court’s decision striking down the state’s congressional map.
