Nearly a year ago, I announced I was running for Congress to fight for places like my hometown in Broome County.

11 months later, two rounds of redistricting, 20 counties, and several GOP opponents later, only 22 days now separate us and Election Day in one of the tightest House races across the country. The polls have this race within the margin of error.

John, there are a lot of positive updates to share - huge momentum on the ground, and support building across the Southern Tier, Catskills, and Upper Hudson Valley.

But, there’s one gravely concerning update I have to share with you, too. Republican Super PACs just dumped nearly $4 million in attack ads against me this month, and it’s not yet certain we’ll have the resources to fight back.

We’re going to do everything we can to set the record straight with voters, but we’re never going to compromise our principles by selling out and taking corporate PAC special interest money.

So I’m coming directly to you, the grassroots team that’s stood with us from the beginning of this fight. John, if you’re with us all the way, will you pitch in $5 , $10 , or whatever you can spare to help us fight back against the Super PACs and win this nail-biter election?
