The picturesque Flat Creek, winding its way through the National Elk Refuge just north of Jackson, is well-known for its trophy-class cutthroat trout.?Recently, the Jackson fish crew sampled a section of Flat Creek to keep an eye on the renowned fishery. As expected, a number of trophy-class cutthroat were netted.

Game and Fish urges people who recreate in bear country to take safety precautions and be on the lookout for bears ? and signs of bears.?Hunters can follow these tips to help minimize the chance of a bear conflict.
