When I was elected Chairwoman of the DCCC, I knew I would have the opportunity to work with some of our amazing freshmen. But I didn’t realize I’d form a special relationship with one particular congresswoman in the district next to my own. I’m talking about the amazing Abby Finkenauer.

She’s in a tight race in Iowa’s 1st District, so I have to be frank: Earlier this year, I put her on the Frontline program -- the DCCC’s list of vital incumbents -- but she’s going to need more help than that. Especially for her critical end-of-year fundraising drive. She needs supporters like you to chip in to her campaign today. Can we count on you?

Abby really has it all, folks. She’s dedicated to advancing our Democratic principles: affordable health care, comprehensive campaign finance reform, and an economy that serves hard-working American families -- not special interests.

I have her back, and Abby has yours in Washington. But she’s in one of the most hotly contested districts of 2020, and it’s going to take a dedicated grassroots effort to defend her seat this year. Can I -- and Abby -- count on your support today?
